TechRadar: Donald Trump's surprise "SI" announcement causes domain gold rush

TechRadar Pro has cited Netcraft research in its report on the rush to register .si domains, the country code for Slovenia, following President Trump's announcement at the UN General Assembly that the US will now refer to artificial intelligence as "super intelligence," or SI. Netcraft's findings, including evidence of speculative .si buying that began before the speech aired, are referenced as the story traces how a rebrand that was telegraphed through Truth Social polls turned into a gold rush for the domains.

According to TechRadar, Register.si logged 46,066 new .si domains in September, up from 3,515 in August, with daily registrations climbing past 12,600 at the time of writing.
